Introduction Bagmati Goat Breeder Farm.
Nepal is an agricultural country. Nearly 75% of Nepalese depend on agriculture. Although 75% of Nepalese depends upon agriculture there is bitter reality in front of us that no special achievement or steps in the field of agriculture is seen.
So accepting the weakness seen in the agriculture sector this "Bagmati goats development farm" was established in 1994. But due to lack of appropriate Technical skill and Equipment lack of diagnosing the disease in time lack of strong Agriculture strategy. Weak Economic condition, political instability and different hindrance myself and by other friend this farm start it's service from February 2012 collecting different hybrid goats ( Bisal, jamunapari , Ormana, Badi and other local goats. Probably this farm is the first Modern and highly equipped farm of Nepal.
This form is located at 25 k.m from Kathmandu by Prithvi highway at Dharke Bazar, 10 minute away from Dharke Bazar on foot. In this farm there is facility of general lodging & fooding for 4 to 5 people.
In this area there are different famous and important places. This is the area from where the route to Pokhara, Chitwan National park, Birth place of loard Gautam Buddha ( Lumbini) starts. There is transportation facility to Daman, Muktinath and Manakamana which are famous tourist place and the place for mountain view. In this highway there is transport facility for 24 hour. And probably this is the good climatic place of Nepal to live and the temperature rise up to 35. c in winter. This place was famous for sugarcane at previous and recently it is famous for vegetable product also now different Industries like Cement, Bricks, Medicine, gas are in operation and more are under construction.
2. Improved goat shed and estimated cost:- The length should be 60 feet, Breadth 18 feet and height 16 feet. Cost = 20,00,000 and the cost may be vary according to places.
3 Bucket and pots for feeding:- Bucket is used to give pieced grass and mixture of different tonic flour. And (Tatnoo) is used to put grasses which are not pieced.

5. Prevention and precaution from Disease:- P.P.R should be given, goat shed should be clean by phenyl water, formalin copper Sulphet and goat legs should be clean by phenyl water.
6. Types and Introduction of goat.
Boer goat : This goat was developed in South Africa in 19th centaury. In 1980 this goat was farmed in Australia and Newsland and now it is flourishing in different other country. In Nepal this goat is farmed by different farmer from 7 year ago.
Feature of this goat:
a. Developed Quickly (80-120) gm per day.
b. Reproduce 2 baby at a time.
c. Reproduce baby 3 time in 2 years.
d. Can reproduce baby in any month due to less effect of Bali zone season.
e. Meat of this goat is healthier due to less amount of chlostrel .
f. In this Bagmati goat Breeding farm this is sold in 700-1200 per kg.
2 Beetle : This type of goat is found in Gujrat and Rajasthan of India. This goat is mostly of Balck and grey color, big swollen nose, long flat and curly ears with tall body. In our farm the height of he goat is approximately 110 cm and she goat is 80 cm with average weight 69kg and she goat is 40 kg. It reproduce 3 times in around 2 years with 50% twins . In terai and hilly region (Bhawar ) good profit can be earn.
Osmana Bade : The news species of this goat originate in India have Slim and tall body with long horn. It give good milk. It gives birth in 135 to 142 days. For further feature the research is going on.
